Proudly contributing to building the future of digital products & services by democratizing AI
We started MorphL in January 2018, after being awarded with a Google Digital News Initiative grant to create a machine learning platform capable of predicting user behaviors in mobile/web applications.
We quickly realized that our mission is, in fact, to democratize AI and to empower people that want to AI-enhance their digital products or services, who believe their users deserve a personalized experience.
This is the absolute driver behind both the open-source & commercial versions of MorphL.
For us, being open-source means more than just publishing the code on GitHub for everyone to use. It’s a mantra, a way of dealing with R&D by being inclusive and allowing for participatory input from the community, acknowledging that we’re all in this together and the power of many trumps that of a benevolent dictator.
If you believe what we believe (read our AI Principle), you appreciate open-source culture and want to contribute to democratizing AI as part of our team, we'd love to hear from you.
We decided to start MorphL as an open-source project partly because we’ve been using a lot of open-source resources ourselves and we wanted to give back to the community at large and partly because we wanted to democratize AI & making it easy for software engineers to integrate MorphL within their digital products & services.
At the beginning of 2018, Google Digital News Initiative granted us €50,000 to develop a machine learning platform capabale of predicting user behaviors in mobile/web applications.
In the second half of 2018 we got accepted to EDI (European Data Incubator) where we teamed up with JOT Internet Media to predict user search intent.
In September 2019, we were selected to the Techstars Montréal AI Accelerator, where we work with incredible mentors and continue developing our product.
